Turbinado Cane Sugar Cookies
This cookie is has a hint of molasses in it and the couch of the sugar makes it extra crunchy. It’s good right after you bake it or a after a few days.

Ingredients
1
cup
butter
1
cup
turbinado sugar plus 1/2 cup for rolling
1
egg
1
tsp
vanila extract
2
cups
all-purpose flour
1/2
tsp
baking soda
1/2
tsp
salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking sheets with parchment.
In a stand mixer, mix sugar and butter together.
Add egg and vanilla. Mix again.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.
With the stand mixer on low, add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture. Mix until just combined.
Make an assembly line. Make balls using ice cream scoop, roll around in sugar and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 13-15 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes on the sheet then cool completely on a wire rack.
