Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a stand mixer bowl, cream butter and vanilla extract until combined. Add the 6 tbsp of powdered sugar and flour to the butter mixture until it’s combined.
Add in the chopped walnuts and mix again. With an ice cream scoop, scoop out 1 inch balls and place them on the parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet. Roll the balls again in the 1/3 cup powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container.
