PEACH BUCKLE
A great recipes to use this in-season peaches!!! Also another great recipe that you can top of with vanilla ice cream!!

Ingredients

unsalted butter

medium ripe peaches
peeled, pitted and sliced 1/4-inch-thick

sugar

flour

tsp
baking powder
Pinch fine sea salt
1
cup
sugar
1
cup
whole milk
1
tsp
pure vanilla extract

tbsp
turbinado sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Melt butter in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet, preferably enameled, over medium heat. Be careful not to burn it.
Place peaches in a medium bowl and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. Mix together.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add remaining 1 cup granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla. Combine.
Pour in the melted butter and whisk until well combined.
Pour the mixture into skillet and top with peaches. Sprinkle with sanding sugar.
Bake until top is golden brown and a tester inserted in center comes out clean, 50 to 55 minutes.
