Oats and Honey Bars
A great breakfast bar or a snack bar to make! Easy to do and most of the ingredients are your pantry staples!!

Ingredients

old-fashioned rolled oats

crispy rice cereal

oat flour

baking soda

honey

coconut oil

pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9- by 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, stir together oats, crispy rice cereal, oat flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Add in the honey, melted coconut oil, and vanilla. Mix together until all the ingredients are combined with a large spoon.
Pour the oat mixture into prepared pan and press down very firmly with the back of a measuring cup. Try to get an even layer.

Remove from oven and cool in pan for 10 minutes. Take out the bar by taking out the parchment paper and lay on a cutting board.
Cool for 5 more minutes and then cut into 12 bars. You want to cut it before it hardens.
Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
Recipe Notes
To make the oat flour, put 1 cup of old fashioned oats into a chopper or a food processor. Grind it until it becomes a fine powder
