Malva Pudding
An amazing pudding and a great dessert to share!! So decadent and rich and just exceptionally delicious!!

Ingredients
Pudding

apricot jam

milk

vinegar

flour

Sauce
1
cup
heavy cream
3/4
cup
sugar

butter

cup
hot water
1
tsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 2 quart baking pan with butter.
Whip butter with sugar for 2 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time and continue to whip until it’s all combined.
Add the apricot jam and mix well.
Then, add the milk and the baking soda, then the vinegar.
Add the sifted flour gradually and mix until it’s thoroughly combined. Do not overmix
Pour in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes in the oven or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
While the pudding is baking, mix all the sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan on medium/high heat.
Bring to a boil and be careful not to burn it. Remove from heat and cover.
Remove the pudding from the oven and prick all over with a skewer.
Pour the sauce on top. It will pool a little bit in the middle so keep on pricking it with the skewer some more so the sauce will seep in.
Set aside for 15 minutes before serving so that the cake has time to absorb the sauce.
