Chocolate Chip Loaf
A great way to start the day!! You can make this loaf 1 day ahead and serve it for breakfast or if you are an early riser, it’s a great easy recipe to make in the morning!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9×5 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. This is the dry mixture.
  3. In a stand mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until it becomes light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and scrape the sides each time you add an egg.
  4. Add vanilla extract, scrape and then mix again. This is the wet mixture.
  5. Add half of the dry mixture and half of the milk into the wet mixture. It will look curdled but it will change once you add the rest.
  6. Add the rest of the dry mixture and milk and mix until it’s well combined.
  7. Add the chocolate chips and mix for about 10 seconds.
  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared 9×5 loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool on a cooling rack.
