BANANA BARS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 15x10x1 baking pan with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. This is the dry mixture.
In a stand mixer bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
Pour in the dry mixture into the creamed mixture just until fully blended.
Pour the batter to a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool in the pan.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
In a stand mixer bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until fluffy.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix together until smooth.
Spread the frosting evenly on the banana bars.
Sprinkle the top with banana chips or walnuts.
