This month’s bakes have been so fun and delicious!!  I’m so happy that this adventure turns out to be a yummy one that my family can enjoy!!  Now the final recipe for this month is Orange Bread.  Your house will smell so good!!!   And the glaze makes it even better!!  So tart and sweet!!!

Orange is one of my favorite fruit to eat.  Some people do smoothies every morning, I do fresh squeezed orange juice everyday!!  Oh it just wakes me up and it’s good for me!!!  Here’s some fun facts about orange!

  • There are 600 varieties of oranges!!  600!!  Did you know that?  I sure did not!!!
  • The orange capitol is Brazil.  It’s not Florida!!  ?
  • The color was named after the fruit, not the fruit after the color!

So after knowing these facts, let’s make our Orange Bread!!  Yum!!!

First we cream the butter and sugar together.   Then add in the eggs.  After that add your dry ingredients, which are flour, baking powder and salt, into the butter.

Here comes the delicious parts!!  Add in the milk and the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Then add in the double power!!  Orange zest and Lemon zest!!!  It’s so delicious!!

Pour it into the prepared pan.  Then bake it for about 50-55 minutes in a 325 degree oven.

Here’s the bread when it’s cooled and glazed!!  Call the family!!  Breakfast is served!!!

Happy Baking!!
