Well, hello to you, Chocolate Chip Cookie Tower!!! Is it a cookie or is it cake? It’s both!! BIRTHDAY month is getting sweeter and sweeter each week!!
Dessert towers are so fun to make!!! As I was looking for recipes to make for the birthday month, I was looking for desserts that you can make into towers. Something that will have height. We’ve done brownies, now why not cookies? A cookie cake tower!!
This cake is great to make when you want to try something different but can still feed a crowd. You can make it one day ahead and then assemble it with the chocolate frosting on the day of the party. Your guests will be so lucky!!!
Chocolate chip cookie is one of the basic, simple, yet delicious recipes that all household loves. It starts with mixing butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla. Once that’s ready, add the dry ingredients. Really simple!!
Now I know that this next step will make you as happy as I am when I was making this recipe. Add those yummy chocolate chips into your dough! I like to measure but I know there some people who just pour until they’re happy. Just make sure that it’s dough with chocolate chips and not chocolate chips with dough!! ? ? ?
Lightly grease each pan with cooking spray. Then using a measuring cup, put in 1 cup of dough in the 4 inch pan, 2 cups of dough in the 6 inch pan and 3 cups of dough in the 6 inch pan.
I’m getting more and more excited!!! What a sight, right?!
So you will have extra dough, so what I did was bake it just like a regular cookie for the topper and for snack!!!
To assemble, put the 8 inch cake onto your cake pedestal. Then put straws in it, so that it can hold the other 2 tiers.
Put a layer of chocolate frosting, then put a cake board the size of the 6 inch cake.
Put a little bit of frosting on the cake board, then place the 6 inch cake on top.
Repeat those steps for the 4 inch cake. Then pipe some frosting on the top of the 4 inch cake.
Top the cake with your cookie topper that you hopefully saved!
Pretty, simple, delicious!! What else do you need??? Oh, I know!! Friends and family to enjoy this yummy cake!!! Enjoy!!!
Happy Baking!!!
